Car Accident
We've had an eventful couple of weeks. During one of our recent snow and ice filled days here in Tennessee Angela was rear-ended and her car was totaled. Angela took a short trip to the hospital, and was lucky to have the dean of the medical school come to the accident site to check on her. He also called Ben personally to let him know Ang was in an accident and called the emergency room and spoke with her physician. Ang's entire office came to the scene of the crash and her boss came to the ER so she wouldn't be alone until Ben got there. Although the events were tough and stressful, it made us realize what great friends we've made here and how lucky we are to be surrounded by such a caring community of people.
Saying good-bye to the little red Civic was quite sad since it was the first car Angela ever bought for herself. We decided to go with a little bigger car this time, a Toyota Highlander. It's going to be great for the summer when we go kayaking, the kayaks didn't fit on top of the Civic too well!

Farewell, little red Civic. I enjoyed our time together on the road to and from NOLA. Angela, you know how to work a neck brace!
