Reading Recommendations Please

...And this time not about pregnancy. Or babies. Or childbirth. Between reading for school and the stack of parenting books I have, I need some suggestions for fluff reading I can do before bed to clear my mind. So, better make sure the books don't cover rhetoric, religion, or Colonial America either. I need to drop off my copy of Tori Spelling's Mommywood (shut up, I love her) back at the library and would love to get some tips from you on some fun reading to check out next!

  1. Well, Ms. Goins.....I have a few "light" books to share! :)

The Lauren Conrad series was interesting, and definitely a summer, beachy sort of read. (library worthy, not necessarily worth buying)
Summer Sisters by Judy Bloom is one of my favs
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was good....I just bought the prequal called Dawn of the Dreadfuls today!
My mom's been bugging me to read something by Elin Hilderbrand...she loved the book called Barefoot. Might be worth trying.
Dead Until Dark, the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series (books True Blood tv show is based on) is on my bookshelf....read the first page and am already intrigued...plus Savannah said that Tom read most of the series in mere days...

I will say I haven't been quite the avid reader I usually am, but mostly because I'm still trying to get through my second time around in the Twilight Series! I'm half-way through Breaking Dawn. This time around it took me more time to get through Eclipse than anything else!

...i think we need an online book club! :(

  3. I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo by Steig Larson. It's a pretty light read and very good so far. I'm about half way through. It is also part of a trilogy.

  4. "The Help" is excellent. Right now I'm reading "Last Night at Chateau Marmont"by Lauren Weisberger (who also wrote "The Devil Wears Prada") and it's a good chick-lit read. I also love anything by Emily Giffin.
